What is expected?
  • 1.Guide and handle junior chemists properly in work and prepare/verify results respectively on daily basis.
  • 2.Method validation, process optimization and conduct experiments as required.
  • 3.Conduct qualitative, quantitative experiments and proximate analysis.
  • 4.Maintain lab equipments/Calibrations and troubleshoot or report on malfunctions.
  • 5.Maintain hygene inside lab and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, making sure that all the technology is working correctly, if it isn’t, troubleshoot the issue or problem.
  • 6.Conduct weekly/monthly quality control tests to ensure that no equipment or compounds are contaminated by outside variables or environmental factors that can be controlled.
  • 7.Analyze and compile data from research tests to diagnose malfunctions or determine equipment or process operating efficiency.
  • 8.Develop,Improve and Customize equipments, products, formulas, analytical methods and processes.
  • 9.Document findings in technical papers and reports, preparing specifications and testing standards.
  • 10.Order laboratory supplies and chemicals, keeping an eye on expiration dates.
  • 11.Good knowledge on proximity analysis of different parameters like Moisture, Protein, Starch, Fibre/ash/AIA,Gluten,Curcumin etc.and instruments like HPLC,GCMS,LCMS,UVspectrophotometer, etc.
  • 12.Good Knowledge on all standards like ISO 17025:2017,NABL,BIS,APEDA,FSSAI etc.
  • Handling of instrument in lab/calibration of instrument/Good knowledge of GLP,GDP,/Proximate analysis/Method validation
